I'm a short girl, like SHORT... so when it comes to boots, I have the tendency to only wear ankle boots because I was thinking other types of boots would accentuate my short figure.
That was before the OTK Boots Mania with OTK standing for Over-The-Knees. If you follow fashion instagramers or bloggers, you know what we're talking about because this is so trendy at the moment.
Actually, OTK boots has been around for a long time but this year it became a mania and every "mainstream" shops have a pair in their winter collections. I think this trend became a mania because of the Stuart Weitzman (SW) "Highland" worn by a lot of celebrities (Olivia Palermo, Rosie Huntington, Jessica Alba, Kourtney Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Miranda Kerr & more).
I first discovered SW boots on Ashley Madekwe's blog in 2013 and I fell in love. And after seeing the boots on different types of figures, I'm ready to own a pair too. I really think that's not only for tall and thin girls, depending on what model you choose. Plus, if you are part of #TeamShortGirls, high heels OTK boots would definitely elongate your figure.

The SW "Highland" boots cost about $800... since everyone don't want to put that much money in shoes, here are some dupes you may like as well :
I think I'm going for one of the pairs above. I will definitely let you know the one I choose and review it once received.
What do you think of this trend ?
